CONSTRUCTION & INSTALLATION

CME is a multidiscipline engineering company that provides mechanical, electrical and civil construction and installation services. As a fully-integrated services contractor, CME has the experience, supply chain and project management skills necessary to act as sub-contractor or Principal Contractor with full responsibility for overall build delivery.

Capabilities and services include civil construction, fabrication, installation and commission of process equipment, pipework, structural steelwork and electrical /instrumentation systems throughout a wide range of industrial sectors. Additionally, CME provides complete turnkey build solutions for new builds, factory relocations, dismantling and erection services.

FABRICATION AND MANUFACTURE

CME’s dedicated workshop includes 12,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing space and 8000 sq.ft. of yard space with 5T overhead gantry cranes in the Dublin City area.  The specialist production team manufactures parts and components to the highest quality and integrity in single bespoke pieces, small batch or mass-produced quantities.

Small, medium and heavy fabrications include pipework, structural and mechanical parts for all industries.  Testing centres provide destructive and non-destructive testing for strength and integrity, hardness, conductivity, magnetic permeability, metallurgy and chemical analysis.  At all stages of a project, compliance with best practice internal systems and industry standards ensures that the correct technology and methodology is employed. 

CME offers a comprehensive coded welding service. Our engineers have codings to BS EN / ASME standards and are regularly re-tested to ensure the highest possible quality of workmanship.

MAINTENANCE, REPAIR & OVERHAUL

The extensive expertise of our maintenance teams means we’re able to respond efficiently to planned maintenance, call-outs and carry out comprehensive repair and upkeep work on clients facilities, mechanical and electrical equipment.  CME has developed an agile field services procedure utilising mobile iPhone and iPad technology, well-stocked service vehicles and multi-skilled craft personnel with well thought out toolkits suitable for almost all maintenance and repair projects.  CME manage planning and implementing routine and preventive maintenance programs and have a dedicated, specialist workshop facility providing a complete range of process equipment, pumping station maintenance, overhaul and repair services. 

PROJECT MANAGEMENT, ENGINEERING & DESIGN

CME's in-house design facility make concepts a reality.  It’s important to be able to “think outside the box” at all times to ensure that we achieve the ideal solution time after time.

CME’s purposeful design process bridges across inception, feasibility and detail design phases; utilising latest AutoCAD, Solidworks and Tekla design packages to communicate, construct and manufacture effective designs for its clients.

Regular pipework and structural steelwork design meets the requirements of relevant standards.  The project supervisor and construction design management requirements are integrated into the design process and CME’s trained personnel are available to build safely and assist clients as required.
